What is the difference between Silpat® and Silpain®?

Silpain® is a perforated mat, effective for baking in all types of oven, all shapes and sizes of bread which are not required to be calibrated. Silpat® is a non-perforated mat, effective for baking pastries.


What is Silpat®?

Silpat® is a non-stick mat which is much more economical than silicone paper.

Silpat® mat is ideal for baking all Danish pastries and other pastries baked on trays.

It can also be used to bake all sorts of biscuits, shortbreads and sponges such as Joconde sponge.

Finally, the Silpat® is ideal for sugar craft.
